8. Be grateful. Think of the time they allotted for you to see if you are an effective prospective employee, they surely have busy schedules. After the interview, ask for the interviewer’s or the employer’s business cards or calling cards. Send thank you notes without any delay. Even if you were hired or not, send them your gratitude anyways. Keep them noted by saying how much interest you had with the position you applied for. With this act of gratitude, you will surely stand out from the crowd of applicants. If given the chance, when you try to apply again, that simple thank you note just might help.
