Aiming for that Marketing job you want needs you to “Ace” that dreadful interview you’re going to face. Now, here are some helpful tips:

Make a list of your best selling traits for the position.
In addition to any sample job interview questions you got from resources, you absolutely must have your OWN list of unexpected questions based on the job you are applying.
Review and edit your answers, try not to memorize it because the interviewer will likely notice that he is talking to a robot! Read them over and over until you are comfortable that you know them fairly well.
Lastly, practice over and over again because practice makes perfect.

The Marketing Position

market1.jpgMarketing is all about conceptualization, planning, implementation, and strategizing. If you have or possess these qualities, for sure in no time you can land a job for a marketing position. In an organization, the marketing department is considered the forefront of the company since they are in charge with the sales target. They work hand in hand with the sales people, though sales personnel are more pressured. On the other hand, the marketing group is given more credit if the campaign or the project becomes successful. This is the reason why landing for a marketing job is a rewarding career.

The SIVA system is a formal approach to the customer oriented marketing. This model focuses on the customer and how they view the operation. The four elements that comprise it are:

Solution how does the solution meet the customers needs/problem;

Information is the customer aware of the solution and do they know enough about it to make them decide to buy;

Value does the customer know the value of the transaction, what the cost is, the benefits, and what is the reward they can get if they decide to avail;

Access where can the customer get the solution and is it readily available.
