Why Follow Up?

Just think of this? Your resume is one in hundreds of files that are piled up in an HR’s desk for a particular job vacancy in their company. After a few days, you managed to call the company manager to follow up on you resume. Chances are you are just one of the few people who had the initiative to follow up. And with the help of a good presentation, you could be given the chance to be interviewed later. If you haven’t done this, your piece of paper should have stayed there unnoticed. There are things to keep in mind, do not call the HR manager. You should go directly to the Hiring supervisor or manager. If it even comes to a point that you need to talk the vice president, then do it. Take control of your job search, don’t wait for things to work for you because it never will come to you on its own.
